Designer Market

You must drop into Magnolia Square designer market this weekend at St Kilda Town Hall. It is just a treasure trove of all things beautiful and handmade. Belinda Pieris designer accessories will team up with the lovely artisan printed wares of Vixen.      I am a devoted Vixenette, complete with my Vixen wardrobe and decorated bedroom with lamp shades and pillows. Vixen adds to your life the kind of luxury to make you believe you belong on the set of The House of Eliott. This weekend Vixen will be having a stall at Magnolia Square Market and has kindly invited me to include some of my leather wallet collection.

tessuti

Next time your in Melbourne you must drop into tessuti fabrics.  I love the fact that it is slightly hidden in a second level studio in Flinders lane. I just love the merchandising of this space which creates the ambiance of a designers studio with quirky displays; complete with old sewing machines.  They have a great selection of fabrics and great Japanese pattern books.  It was the first time I have dropped in store; but was impressed when I received a web order wrapped in old pattern sheets; very cute. Tessuti also runs sewing lessons and has a great blog and facebook community were fans show off their sewing projects once completed.
