I have a fondness for tools of trade. I love my old worn out dressmakers scissors I saved up for when I started uni now all chipped and loved, the antiques thimbles I used to make hundreds of silk flowers in another life time and my leather punching tools for which I never seem to have the right size when I need it. When I came across these pictures today in a Japanese magazine I just thought they were so beautiful. I dream of setting up a studio again one day with all my tools laid out ready to be used when inspired.
